Essex Police, Fire and Crime Panel (External)

The Panel comprises representatives of the 15 local authorities in wider Essex, a co-opted member and two independent members. It meets at least four times a year to scrutinise the work of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, exercising the function as a critical friend, in support of the Commissioner. Uttlesford District Council’s representative on the Panel is Councillor Colin Day.
