Purpose

This is a request for the Waverley Executive
to approve staff sharing arrangements between Waverley and
Guildford past a 12 month period. Currently the CE has delegated
authority to approve to 12 months, but past that needs Executive
approval.

Content

The Executive resolved to:
 
(i)           
Approve the extension of the existing temporary arrangements set
out in Appendix A until 31 December 2025.

 
(ii)          
Delegate the authority to the Chief Executive, in consultation with
the Leader of the Council, to approve the creation of new joint
posts for Guildford Borough Council and Waverley Borough Council,
in accordance with all Human Resources policies and within approved
budget.
