Reasons for the decision
Implementation of these waiting
restrictions will help to address road safety concerns raised to
the Melksham LHFIG on behalf of Melksham Town Council, Melksham
Without Parish Council and Semington
Parish Council and the local community, by improving visibility to
junctions and access for residents, service vehicles and emergency
services in these locations.
The proposals are in accordance
with priorities 2 and 3 in Wiltshire Council’s Business Plan
2022 – 2032.
The proposals have the support
of the locally elected members, Melksham Local Highway &
Footway Improvement Group and Area Board.
