Purpose: Delegation to the Executive Director for Climate and Place to commit spend up to £9.6m and to reallocate funding as necessary between the mitigation projects. This is to ensure the entirety of the funding is committed by the end of this financial year.  

Content: Following consideration of the officer report, appendices and discussion, the Executive resolved to:   a)    Delegate authority to the Executive Director Community, Place and Economy, in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer, to commit spend up to £9.6m from the Local Nutrient Mitigation Capital Funding to deliver nutrient mitigation schemes in line with grant conditions in the financial year 2024/25. b)    Delegate authority to the Executive Director Community, Place and Economy, in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer, to reallocate funding as necessary between the projects listed in Table 2 to ensure that the entirety of the £9.6m funding is committed by 31st March 2025, as required by MHCLG.
