Purpose: The meeting of Regulatory and Appeals Committee held on 1 August 2024 received a report which proposed the designation of a new Conservation Area in Eccleshill. The Committee recommend to the Executive that the part of Eccleshill identified in Appendix 1 to Document “B” be designated as a Conservation Area. The Executive report will seek formal decision on the proposed designation.
Content: Resolved – (1) That the part of Eccleshill as identified in Appendix 1 to Document “Z” be designated as a conservation area in accordance with the provisions of Section 69 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. (2) That the requirements in relation to the designation as prescribed by Section 70 of The Act be undertaken under delegation to the Strategic Director (Place) with advice from Legal Services to ratify the designation.
