Purpose:

Content: Resolved:-   (1)          that the allocation of £2,500,000 additional capital budget in 2025/26 is approved to supplement existing Highway Services capital budgets, to be funded through prudential borrowing;   (2)          that the primary objectives are approved, which comprise to:   ·      increase the proportion of carriageway maintenance directed to un-classified carriageways to arrest and reverse the deterioration in the condition of unclassified roads.   ·      increase the funding of footways in order to arrest and reverse the deterioration in the condition of footways in red risk condition.
