Purpose: To approve the plan for spend of the UKSPF fund 25/26

Content: RESOLVED that:   1)     Cabinet agrees the proposed approach to utilising UK Shared Prosperity fund in Breckland for 2025/26,   2)     Cabinet delegates to the Executive Director, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Growth, the administration, delivery and operation of the fund  

Reasons for the decision: Agreeing to the proposed investment approach will enable the Council to benefit from significant investment in local priorities. It will allow us to develop a work programme, with partners, based around a few core priorities which link to evidenced needs and  opportunities.  

Alternative options considered: Option 1 – To approve the recommendations. Agreeing to the proposed outline approach for utilising UKSPF funds.   Option 2 – To seek a different investment approach to the one proposed. Based on another configuration or prioritisation areas within the UKSPF guidelines.   Option 3 - Do nothing
