Purpose:

Content:   Resolved –   1.    That the allocation of up to £50million was received from the Department of Health & Social Care to provide new wards and therapy spaces at Lynfield Mount Hospital be noted.   2.    That Members noted the approval of the Outline Business Case from NHE England was received and would proceed to a Full Business case stage.   3.    That the project timeline and scope of works be noted.   4.    That the significant engagement work was carried out since inception of the scheme with a new Communications Policy being developed to engage the local community.   5.    That the social value principles for the Trust, all designers and contractors involved be noted.   6.    That the purpose of the core element of design was to provide single rooms with ensuite facilities for every service user be noted.   7.    That the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities collaborate with the Council’s Area Co-ordinators to further develop project design engagement.   To be actioned by: the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities – Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
