Purpose: The Report will outline the intended spend plans for the Warmer Homes -Local Grant (WHLG) in Staffordshire and seek approval of those plans via Delegated Decision to the Director of Health and Care for compliant spend of the grant funds. The WHLG is the next phase of the Government strategy to tackle Carbon Net Zero by 2050 and fuel poverty by improving housing stock and will run for 3 to 5 years from 2025. Funding allocation is greater than £2m but to be confirmed after the Government spending review (Feb 2025)
