Purpose: Subject to Cabinet approval in February 2025, to consider the feedback from the public consultation and agree the final policy for adult social care fees and charges.

Content: (a)  Approved the policy appended at Appendix Three to the report including:   i.  that the Minimum Income Guarantee will be applied in accordance with national regulations, with no buffer applied in Slough. ii.  to implement payment charges when Slough Borough Council manage appointee-ship. iii.  revised Deferred Payment charges. iv.  Changes to charging for arranging support for self- funders.   (b)  Agreed that implementation of the policy will be implemented as follows throughout 2025 -   ·  For appointee-ship charges – Implement from 1 June onwards. ·  For Minimum Income Guarantee, self-funders and deferred payments – New and existing customers to be assessed using the agreed amounts from 1st June 2025 onwards.
