Content: Members considered a report by Councillor Shantanu Rajawat.   Again the Mayor confirmed cross party support for this item and suggested that the matter should go straight to the vote where it was unanimously   RESOLVED –   That the Council agreed the appointments to outside bodies for the municipal year 2025/26 as listed in the submitted report.     NATIONAL GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS   Name of Organisation   Number of Representatives Local Government Association General Assembly 4 (usually the Leader) (This is a Cabinet Appointment)   Councillor Shantanu Rajawat       NATIONAL COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS   Name of Organisation   Number of Representatives There are currently no national community organisations to which the council appoints representatives       LONDON GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATIONS   Name of Organisation Number of Representatives London Councils’ Leaders’ Committee (S.101 Joint Committee) Councils nominate one voting member (usually the Leader, but not necessarily) and up to two named deputies.  All three members will receive papers for meetings. (This is a Cabinet Appointment) Councillor Shantanu Rajawat London Councils’ Associated Joint Committee (London Councils Transport and Environment Committee) Councils nominate directly (usually lead member for transport and/or environmental issues).  One voting member and up to four named deputies.
