Purpose: Executive support for the draft Tall Buildings SPD and it proceeding to public consultation.

Content: Decision: Endorse the draft Tall Buildings Supplementary Planning Document (at Appendix 1) and agree it proceeding to public consultation for a period of six weeks between 27 June 2025 and 8 August 2025, or as soon as reasonably practicable thereafter. Reason(s): The recommendation is made in order to seek the support of the Executive to undertake public consultation on the draft Tall Buildings SPD. The Executive will retain the authority to decide on whether to adopt the SPD, including whether to incorporate any proposed amendments subsequent to the public consultation. Other options considered and rejected by the Executive: To not endorse the SPD. Details of any conflict of interest declared by the Leader or lead councillors and any dispensation granted: None.
