Content: 13.1 The Head of Service for Education and Skills introduced the report which set out the scale of the challenge and the urgent need for reform. It provided elected members with a clear summary of current concerns and the coordinated actions underway to reduce exclusions, improve provision, and strengthen accountability across the system.     13.2 RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY: That Education, Children and Families Policy Committee:-   a.    Take note of the issues outlined. b.    Support the next steps identified in the report.     13.3 Reasons for Decision     13.3.1 The purpose of the report was to ensure elected members are fully informed of the scale of the challenges and the collaborative actions now underway to address them.     13.4 Alternatives Considered and Rejected     13.4.1 Report was for the purpose of updating Committee - No decision or change was being put forward.
