Purpose: This framework will be in place to ensure that we can continue to meet our statutory duties in the event of an unplanned or planned outage at Hanford ERF. As part of our Waste Supply Agreement with Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Staffordshire will need to secure compliant facilities should Hanford ERF be unavailable. This framework will only be applicable to the Districts and Boroughs who already deliver their residual waste into Hanford ERF.
