Purpose: The Food Standards Agency requires each local authority to develop a service plan setting out its regulatory activity to provide assurance on the safety and standards of food and animal feed in its area. This report presents the Food and Feed: Safety and Standards Service Plan for 2025-26.

Content: RESOLVED that:-   (a) Cabinet notes the contents of the report; and   (b) Cabinet approves the Food and Feed: Safety and Standards Service Plan for 2025-26, attached to the report as Appendix 1.
