Purpose:

Content: RESOLVED that the Constitution and Governance Committee:   1.    Noted the Scrutiny Review findings and recommendations in Annex 1 supporting appendices which were agreed and endorsed by the Scrutiny Committee for Corporate and Resources. 2.    Noted that the Scrutiny Review findings and recommendations are being recommended to Full Council for approval to the necessary changes to the Council’s Constitution, new scrutiny function arrangements, the resources needed to deliver the review and the action plan (see Appendix D). 3.    Noted that the evaluation of the improvements to the Council’s scrutiny function will be done in January 2027, subject to Full Council’s endorsement.
