Purpose: This report provides a summary of the Council’s progress in delivering its Environmental Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan adopted in 2024 and the renewal of the energy contract.

Content: RESOLVED that the Executive:   (i)             Agrees the Environmental Sustainability Strategy progress report (Annex 1) for publication on the Council website (ii)           Agrees that Delegated Authority is given to the Head of Property Services, in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer and the Portfolio Holder for Finance, Assets & Governance, to approve option 2 set out in the Addendum (enter into a new fixed rate contract to supply REGO renewable electricity and green gas for a two-year period).
