Purpose: To seek approval to proceed with the engagement of a Strategic Partner to assist in the delivery of the council’s capital programme.    

Content: The Committee RESOLVED (5 members voting in favour, none against and with 3 abstentions):   1. To approve increasing the contract spend/value by £30 million for the duration of the contract to maintain the long-term capital strategic partnership providing the breadth of services detailed in line with the current contract.   2. To note the intention to commence procurement for the Capital Strategic Partner commencing in 2026 to align with the expiry of the existing contract.
