Purpose: 1.1 This report sets out the policies reviewed in Quarter 1 2025/26 as part of the Council’s rolling HR policy review programme. The purpose is to ensure that all employment-related policies remain up to date, legally compliant, and aligned with best practice, organisational needs, and the Council’s objectives and values.  

Content: That the Personnel Committee approve the revisions to the following policies (set out in Appendices A–D), subject to staff consultation. Disciplinary Policy and Letter of Expectation Guidance for Managers Employment of Relatives Policy Career Break Policy
