Content: The Area Committee has given approval to an application received from Cancer Research UK to hold their annual 3k & 5K charity event at Woodbank Memorial and Vernon Parks on Sunday, 7 June 2026 between 11.00 am and 1.00 pm with set up commencing from 5.00 am and vacation of the site by 4.00 pm subject to all appropriate paperwork, fees, health and safety documentation and licences being obtained and submitted to the Council at least two weeks prior to the event taking place and this being confirmed to the ward councillors.
