Purpose: The Children and Families Scrutiny Committee requested a review into Prevention Support in the Early Years (from pregnancy to age five). The review produced four recommendations. This report provides an update on the progress made against each of the recommendations.

Content: The Cabinet has given approval to its response to the recommendations contained in the ‘Prevention – Support in the Early Years (-9 months to 5 years)’ Scrutiny Review carried out by the Children & Families Scrutiny Committee.
