Purpose: To provide an update on the operation of the markets service in Flintshire and to propose amendments to increase their benefit to Flintshire town centres.

Content: (a)       That the Council engage with Holywell Town Council and Mold Town Council with a view to them taking over the markets by March 2026;   (b)       If no agreement was reached by March 2026 both markets (Holywell Street Market and Mold Car Boot Sale) would be closed; and   (c)        Consideration be given to the Holywell Street Market holding periodic markets.
