Purpose: The Councils primary data centre at Number One Riverside and the secondary data centre at Zen will become end of life in April 2026. The report outlines the options available for consideration.

Content: The Cabinet considered a report of the Director of Corporate Services, which sought approval of course of action proposed for a strategic refresh of the Council’s on-premise data centre infrastructure and the secondary data centre at Zen.   The Head of ICT and Digital was in attendance to present the information and respond to questions and comments from the Cabinet Members.   Resolved that the recommendations set out in section two of the report be agreed.   Reason for decision: As set out in section three of the report.   Alternatives considered and rejected: As set out in section four of the report.
