Purpose: To consider approving: i) a contract variation to increase the core contract value for the delivery of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme in Milton Keynes; ii) the delegation of authority on whether to activate the second 2-year contract extension option for delivery of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme by the current providers CNWL to the Director of Public Health, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Adult Services, Health and Communities. The contract is currently in Year 1 of an initial 2-year extension period (1 April 2025 -31 March 2027), with the option of extending by a further two years (1 April 2027 to 31 March 2029).
Content: 1. That the public and press be excluded from the meeting by virtue of Paragraph 3 (Information Relating to the Financial or Business Affairs of the Authority) of Part I of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, in order that the meeting consider the exempt Annexes to the report. 2. That a financial uplift to the core contract value for the delivery of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme in Milton Keynes, to reflect service pressures arising from demographic changes and increased case complexity, be approved. 3. That authority be delegated to the Director of Public Health, in consultation with the Cabinet member for Adult Services, Health and Communities, to determine whether to approve the second two-year year contract extension option for delivery of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme by the current provider, CNWL. The extended period, if approved, would commence from 1 April 2027.
