Purpose: The report provides an update and proposals for the Council’s fees and charges for the financial year 2026/27.   The report gives the Executive the opportunity to consider the Council’s fees and charges for 2026/27 including approving increases in existing charges and considering new charges where applicable.  

Content: RESOLVED that the Executive:   (a)  approves the General Fund fees and charges for 2026/27 as set out at Appendix A to the report; subject to the removal of the administration fee for the change of bin size (up or down) for subscriptions with 140L bins under the residents’ domestic garden waste collection.   (b)  notes the fees and charges that will be reviewed by the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and Planning Committees;   (c)  approves the proposed Operational Fees and Charges for Solent Airport at Appendix B to the report;   (d)  agrees that delegated authority is given to the Director of Planning and Regeneration to approve the introduction of new Fees and Charges at Solent Airport @ Daedalus;   (e)  agrees that during each financial year a maximum 5% aggregate increase or decrease of individual Operational Fees and Charges at Solent Airport @ Daedalus can be approved by the Daedalus Programme Lead;   (f)   that delegated authority is given to the Director of Planning and Regeneration following consultation with the Executive Member for Policy and Resources, to adjust individual Operational Fees and Charges at Solent Airport @ Daedalus where the aggregate change is more than 5% in a financial year; and   (g)  reviews and approves the proposed Fees and Charges for Trade Waste collection referenced in confidential Appendix C to the report.
