Purpose: Request for approval to spend a portion of the Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (pEPR) payment on the additional staffing and budget required to increase recycling by delivering a resident engagement and behaviour change programme.

Content: RESOLVED that Cabinet:-   (i)            Approve the investment of £0.835M from the packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (pERP) funding for the additional resources and behaviour change required subject to annual MTFS review; and   (ii)          Delegate responsibility for the delivery of the project to the Executive Director – Growth & Sustainability.
