Purpose: There has been a requirement for an urgent decision to be taken by the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Executive Leader, to correct the formal decision making that vests with the Cabinet in respect of a decision taken by the Cabinet at their meeting held on 16th December 2025 on Car Parking Charges Implementation of Increase.

Content: The Cabinet has noted the urgent decision set out in Appendix 1 to the report now submitted, which was taken by the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Executive Leader.
