Purpose: To review and consider the Fees and Charges proposed to be set for the 2026/27 budget.

Content: Cabinet agreed the following, to:   1.  Approve the fees and charges set out in Annex 1 (to the Cabinet report) that relate to the Council’s executive functions, specifically the Statutory Harbour Authority.

Reasons for the decision: Corporate priorities can only be delivered with robust finances and this report gives Members the opportunity to review the council’s proposed fees and charges for 2026/27 as part of the budget process.

Alternative options considered: Viable options are explored when setting the Fees and Charges through benchmarking with comparable service providers, and an understanding of our local area customers and market conditions. The highest increase that can be applied has been, and where an increase is not feasible fees have been left at current levels.
