Purpose: The report outlines the proposed HRA rents for 2026-27.

Content:   Resolved –   That Executive approved:   (1)           The increase in rent by 4.8% in line with the Social Housing Regulators Rent Standard of CPI (3.8% as at September 2025) plus 1% for Council housing stock from 1 April 2026.   (2)           The increase in service charges by 3.8% (in line with CPI) to enable the HRA to recover the costs of providing services to extra care housing tenants which are specific to their tenancies.   To be actioned by: Interim Strategic Director of Corporate                                                  Resources/s151 and Strategic Director of Adult                                    Social Care Health and Housing   Overview and Scrutiny Area: Regeneration and Environment   (Jamie Burns)
