Purpose:

Content: *RESOLVED –   1.   That the People Plan be endorsed.   That it be recommended to Full Council;   2.   That the People Plan be formally adopted.   3.   That authority be delegated to the Director of Digital, HR and Customer Services, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Customers and Business Transformation and the Head of Human Resources and Payroll, to oversee delivery, monitoring and resourcing of the strategy.   4.   That a financial pressure of £120,000, that has been built into the Councils Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP) to support delivery of the priority actions in the People Plan, be noted.   REASONS FOR DECISIONS   1.   A formally adopted People Plan provides clear direction, measurable commitments and a consistent framework for workforce development, wellbeing, leadership and performance.  It will improve organisational resilience, strengthen staff engagement and ensure a modern, skilled and confident workforce.   2.   Adopting the People Plan ensures the Council remains equipped to respond to recruitment challenges, workforce change, digital transformation and increasing service demands.
