Content: RESOLVED that: The principle of transferring the Freehold interest of the following properties to Farnham Town Council, noting the explanations in this report at paragraphs 6.13 to 6.14 about why each of these transfers represents Best Value for the residents and businesses of Waverley: Badshot Lea Recreation Ground Baldreys Recreation Ground The Borelli Walk Oast House Recreation Ground Rowledge Recreation Ground Thurbans Road Open Space Wrecclesham Recreation Ground Badshot Lea Football Club, (Westfield Lane), Wrecclesham Weybourne Road Allotments Six Bells Allotments (Hale Road) Be approved The principle of transferring the Freehold interest of the following properties to Haslemere Town Council, noting the explanations in paragraph 6.15 to this report at about why this transfer represents Best Value for the residents and businesses of Waverley: High Lane Recreation Ground and Community Centre Be approved The principle of transferring of the Freehold interest of the following properties to Godalming Town Council, noting the explanations in this report at paragraphs 6.16 and 6.17 about why each of these transfers represents Best Value for the residents and businesses of Waverley: Crown Court Toilets adjacent to Crown Court Car Park Wilfrid Noyce Centre adjacent to Crown Court Car Park Scout Hut adjacent to The Burys Field Scout and Guide Hut, Seymour Road North Street Car Park Toilets, Farncombe Be approved The principle of transferring the Freehold interest of the following properties to Ewhurst Parish Council, noting the explanations in this report at paragraph 6.18 about why this transfer represents Best Value for the residents and businesses of Waverley: Ewhurst Cricket Club Be approved The principle of transferring the Freehold interest of the following properties to Chiddingfold Parish Council, noting the explanations in this report at paragraphs 6.19 and 6.20 about why each of these transfers represents Best Value for the residents and businesses of Waverley: Coxcombe Recreation Ground Chiddingfold Village Green Be approved The application by Haslemere Town Council in respect of Woolmer Hill Recreation Ground and Pavilion, Haslemere be deferred so that the point on the easement can be clarified and clarification around the financial and lease agreements can take place. The application by Haslemere Town Council in respect of Church Hill Garden, Church Road, Haslemere be deferred pending formal assessment for the HRA on the site. The principle of transferring the Freehold interest in The Burys Field, Godalming to Godalming Town Council be approved as the Executive consider that this that this is an important community asset and doing so will provide the best protection and use of the asset. The principle of transferring the Freehold interest in The Glebe Community Centre (Housing Revenue Account), (HRA) Cranleigh to Ewhurst Parish Council be approved as the Executive consider that this will achieve local benefits given it is already under their control. Delegated authority be granted to the Joint Assistant Director for Assets and Property in consultation with the Joint Strategic Director for Finance and Resources, to negotiate and complete the terms for transfers of the above approved properties at best consideration.
