Purpose: To provide Cabinet with an updated position on the Bowlee Sports Hub development following previous approval, including: - Confirmation of Heads of Terms agreed in principle with Rochdale AFC Progress with Football Foundation engagement Status of design, planning and procurement activity Next steps required to support submission of a full Football Foundation funding application.  

Content:  The Cabinet considered a report of the Director of Economy and Place, which sought to update on progress made since the previous approval of the Bowlee Community Sports Hub scheme and Heywood Sports Village additional AGP pitch and to outline future actions.   The Assistant Director Special Projects was in attendance to present the information and to address the questions and comments of Cabinet Members.   Resolved that the recommendations set out in section two and four of the report be noted and agreed.   Reason for decisions: As set out in sections three and five of the report.   Alternatives considered and rejected: As set out in section in section six of the report.
