Cost of Living Grant Fund Awards

The meeting considered applications for the second tranche of funding from the Cost of Living Grant Fund. The total value of bids for this round was £113,550, with the fund containing £131,575. Four bids to the fund were approved by the meeting:

• Katherine Low Settlement received £18,747
• Wandsworth Foodbank received £34,000

Battersea Park 2025 Major Events

The meeting approved a variation to the Battersea Park 2025 Event Traffic Management Plan.

The variation to the plan removes the requirement for a westbound closure on Chelsea Embankment during the build and breakdown of the events and substitutes it with a lane closure and temporary traffic signals. This is considered to be less impactful on residents in Chelsea and the wider road network.

This decision was made on the basis that a full closure of Chelsea Embankment would have a greater impact on traffic.
