Wandsworth Council have published the agenda for their next Executive meeting, which includes a report on grants made by the council, and another discussing changes to parking charges.

Parking Charges

The meeting will include an item about the council's car parking charges. The report, which was previously considered by the council's Transport Overview and Scrutiny Committee on 19 November 2024, recommends an increase to parking charges in some of the borough's car parks:

It is recommended that a programme of increases to parking charges be implemented over the course of the next financial year.

The report also considers the impact of parking charges on air quality:

...evidence suggests that car parking charges are having a negligible impact on air quality in the borough, and that other measures such as the implementation of Controlled Parking Zones and the encouragement of public transport use are having a more significant impact.

Community Grants

A report on the Community Grants scheme will be included in the meeting. The report has previously been considered by the Grants Sub-Committee. The report concerns grants made to local community groups:
