Summary
The Appeals Board met to consider appeals relating to Home to School Transport, and in a closed session, they considered four cases. The Board also approved as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 20 November 2024.
Exclusion of Press and Public
The board resolved to exclude the press and public from the remainder of the meeting, using legislation contained in Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972. This decision was made to allow the board to discuss information defined in the following paras:
➢Information relating to any particular application for and recipient of, or former recipient of any service provided by the authority. ➢Information relating to any particular application for a recipient of former recipient of any financial assistance provided by the authority. ➢Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (other than the authority).
Hearing of appeals
The Appeals Board considered four appeals relating to charges made for Home to School Transport1.
