Summary
The Appeals Board met on Friday 6 December 2024 and approved the minutes of its previous meeting. The Board then moved into a closed session to discuss four appeals relating to home to school transport.
Exclusion of Press and Public
Before discussing the appeals, the meeting moved into closed session to discuss exempt information. The Board voted to exclude the press and public from the meeting to discuss:
Information relating to any particular application for and recipient of, or former recipient of any service provided by the authority. Information relating to any particular application for a recipient of former recipient of any financial assistance provided by the authority. Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (other than the authority).
The Board cited Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 19721 as the legal justification for this decision.
