Skills and Growth Company
The board received a presentation about the activities of the Skills and Growth Company, which is Cheshire East Council's local delivery partner for skills and employment support.
The Skills and Growth Company is a not-for-profit company which exists to help businesses grow by providing them with tailored support and guidance and helping them to attract new talent to their workforce. 1
Update on Regeneration Projects
The board received an update on the progress of the Royal Arcade scheme and the Market Hall development:
- Royal Arcade Scheme: This scheme has now been completed and will provide a new bus station and multi-storey car park for Crewe.
- Market Hall Development: The Market Hall is due to open in Spring 2025. 90% of the available units have now been let.
Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data for Quarter 1 2024/25
The board was asked to note the contents of a report about the performance of the Crewe Town Deal Board against its Key Performance Indicators.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are quantifiable measures used to evaluate the success of an organization or project in achieving its objectives. KPIs should be SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound.
