The board received a presentation about the activities of the Skills and Growth Company, which is Cheshire East Council's local delivery partner for skills and employment support.

The Skills and Growth Company is a not-for-profit company which exists to help businesses grow by providing them with tailored support and guidance and helping them to attract new talent to their workforce. ¹

Update on Regeneration Projects

The board received an update on the progress of the Royal Arcade scheme and the Market Hall development:

• Royal Arcade Scheme: This scheme has now been completed and will provide a new bus station and multi-storey car park for Crewe.
• Market Hall Development: The Market Hall is due to open in Spring 2025. 90% of the available units have now been let.
