Police and Crime Commissioner's budget for 2025/26
The Panel will receive a report on the Police and Crime Commissioner's proposed budget for the 2025/26 financial year. The report recommends that the Panel notes the proposed budget and precept.
The proposed budget includes a 4.99% increase in the policing precept1 for Band D properties, which equates to an increase of £1.25 per month. The Commissioner's report says that the increase is necessary to
ensure that Hertfordshire Constabulary has the resources it needs to keep the people of Hertfordshire safe and respond to the changing nature of crime.
