The Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum meeting scheduled for 3 March 2025 includes a range of topics impacting residents' lives. The meeting will include a presentation about health provision in Feltham and Bedfont, and the forum will hear updates on local action plans. The agenda also allows time for members of the public to ask questions.

Hounslow Health Strategy

Councillors will be provided with an overview of health and wellbeing in the Bedfont and Feltham area. The report pack includes statistics on the top five health conditions in different age groups, derived from the National Child Measurement Programme. The report pack notes that the “[a]verage concentration of Nitrogen dioxide (NO2),µg/m3, 2019 is 26.33, compared to Hounslow at 28.21”.¹

Action Plan Updates

The meeting will include updates on the progress that has been made on the forum's action plan. This will include updates on the following issues:

• Baber Bridge²
• Anti-social behaviour and flytipping on Bedfont High Street
• Anti-social behaviour and traffic issues on Feltham High Street

Open Forum

The meeting will include an open forum session, during which members of the public can ask questions about local issues. The agenda notes that [i]tems on the main agenda should not be raised in the open forum and that [i]tems where the debate cannot be contained within the public forum may be continued at a future forum or may be put on a future agenda with an Officer’s report. The agenda also notes that “[m]embers of the public are entitled to attend most meetings but may be asked to leave if confidential matters are discussed.”

Informal Market Place

The meeting will be preceded by an informal 'market place', at which residents can “[v]isit [a] collection of market stalls for residents to visit where Council services and community groups showcase their work, recruit support and distribute information.” Food and drink will be served at the informal market place.
