The meeting was scheduled to include a discussion of a taxi driver licence application, which was expected to be held with the press and public excluded.
Taxi Driver Licence Application
The sub-committee was scheduled to consider a taxi driver licence application. The reporting person for this item was named in the agenda as Laura McCulloch. No further details about the applicant were included in the agenda.
The agenda stated that the press and public would be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of this item, because it would involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A, to the Local Government Act 19721.

The Taxi Licensing Sub Committee was scheduled to elect a chair and vice-chair for the remainder of the municipal year.
Minutes
The sub-committee was scheduled to approve the minutes of the meeting of the Taxi Licensing Sub-Committee held on 5 March 2025 as published in the Public Reports Pack. The minutes of the previous meeting on 5 March 2025 record that the sub-committee considered an application for a Private Hire Driver Licence by Mr K, and that Antony Schiller represented Mr K at the meeting. According to the minutes, Laura McCulloch stated that Mr K's driver's badge had been revoked in October 2009 for immigration reasons, and again in July 2019 for battery on another taxi driver. The sub-committee declined the application for a Private Hire Driver's Licence.
