The Taxi Licensing Committee convened to review past minutes, note the absence of appeal case updates and good conduct exemption certificates, and address private hire and Hackney carriage licensing matters. The committee approved the minutes from the previous meeting on 7 August 2025. They also convened in private to discuss several licensing cases.
Licensing Decisions
The committee convened in private to discuss several licensing matters. Under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public were excluded from the meeting for these items because they involved the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 20001. The committee addressed the following cases:
- Review status of a Private Hire Vehicle Driver Licence
- Review status of a Private Hire Vehicle Driver Licence
- Review status of a Private Hire Vehicle Licence
- Review status of a Hackney Carriage Vehicle Driver Licence
- Review status of a Private Hire Vehicle Driver Licence
- Application for the grant of a Private Hire Vehicle Driver Licence
