Summary
The Kirklees Council Appeals Panel met to discuss school transport appeals for children under 16. The panel refused the appeals for FC and APD, but allowed the appeal for C & B McN.
School Transport Appeals
The Appeals Panel considered three school transport appeals for children under 16. These appeals were considered in private, as the information contained within them was deemed exempt under Paragraph 1 of Part 1 to Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 19721. This act allows for the withholding of information relating to individuals where the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosure.
The panel made the following decisions:
- The appeal for FC was refused.
- The appeal for APD was refused.
- The appeal for C & B McN was allowed.
Minutes of the Previous Meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting, held on 12 August 20252, were approved as a correct record.
