Licensing Sub Committee B - Monday 2 December 2024 7.00 pm
This Licensing Sub Committee B meeting was about considering an application to vary the premises licence for Heart of Hackney at 255 Mare Street, and an application for a new premises licence for Tops Pizza at 104 Well Street. This meeting was about a single Licensing application for Simmons, a bar on Curtain Road. The applicant, Simmons Shoreditch Limited, requested to vary its licence to allow it to sell alcohol until 4am on Friday and Saturday nights, to remove a restriction on the sale of alcohol on Good Friday and to replace the existing conditions on the licence. There were representations made against the application by PC Amanda Griggs for the Metropolitan Police, Channing Riviere for the Licensing Authority, and 52 other people.

The Sub-Committee also considered a variation to the premises licence of Draughts, at 41 Kingsland High Street. The applicant withdrew their request to remove an existing condition, but the application to add two new conditions was granted.
