Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 10th December, 2025 7.30 pm

The Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to discuss flood risk management and receive an update from the Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust (ESTH). The committee was also scheduled to review the minutes from its previous meeting.

Council - Monday, 3rd November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Council meeting on 3 November 2025 addressed concerns about Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) and affirmed the borough's commitment to diversity. A motion to improve notification processes for HMO applications was passed, alongside an amendment that also called for enhanced councillor involvement. The council also debated and passed a motion celebrating Sutton's diversity and commitment to an inclusive society.

Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee - Tuesday, 14th October, 2025 7.00 pm

The Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee met to discuss a range of local issues, including updates from community groups, Sutton Housing Partnership (SHP), and highways officers. The committee also addressed public questions regarding traffic calming measures and tennis court usage. Councillor Lisa Webster was appointed Vice Chair of the Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee.

Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee - Thursday, 9th October, 2025 7.00 pm

The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee met on 9 October 2025, and agreed to note a petition for 100% plant-based catering at council events, approved the one year review of the Cultural Strategy for Sutton 2024-2027, noted the bi-annual performance monitoring report, agreed the updated Climate Emergency Response Plan, approved the implementation of a lane rental scheme in the borough, approved the highways and transport programme for 2026/2027, and approved the appointment of a preferred bidder for the parking enforcement and operations contract.

Extraordinary Meeting, Council - Monday, 29th September, 2025 7.00 pm

The Council of the London Borough of Sutton is holding an extraordinary meeting on Monday, 29 September 2025. Councillors will be asked to designate a permanent Monitoring Officer, and to note the interim arrangements in place until that officer starts in post.
