...to save money and in light of potential local government reorganisation, the Independent Remuneration Panel would not be convened, and Members' Allowances would remain at their current levels with no annual increase until May 2027 or the dissolution of Rother District Council, whichever is later, unless local government reorganisation is significantly delayed beyond 2028.

Update on Protecting Local Services (Service/Asset Devolution Framework)

...the Cabinet of Rother approved recommendations to note the progress of the Services and Assets Devolution framework, approve the draft Services and Assets Evaluation Matrix for use, and authorize the Property and Services Investment and Disposal Panel to amend the Evaluation Matrix criteria, subject to Cabinet's final approval for asset devolution or disposal.
