The decision followed a hearing to consider an application for the sale of alcohol for off-premises consumption.

The Licensing Panel of Harrow Council met on Thursday 15 January 2026 and rejected an application for a new premises licence for Rileys Sports Limited at 399 Northolt Road, Harrow. The applicant failed to attend the hearing, and the panel decided to proceed with the rejection based on the objections raised by the police and the Licensing Authority.

The Harrow Council Licensing Panel met to discuss a new premises licence application for AS Food & Wine, located at 50 South Parade, Mollison Way, Edgware, Harrow, HA8 5QL. The applicant, Roginithevi Suthakaran, sought to extend the licensable hours for the sale of alcohol and late-night refreshment. However, due to objections from the Metropolitan Police and the Licensing Authority regarding concerns about crime, disorder and public nuisance, and after discussion with the panel, the applicant withdrew the application and will continue to operate under their existing licence.

The Harrow Council Licensing Panel met to discuss an application for a new premises licence for Pepe's Peri Peri, located at 434 Rayners Lane in Harrow. The panel decided to grant the licence, permitting late-night refreshment until 3am, subject to conditions. These conditions included CCTV installation, noise control, waste management, and measures to prevent disturbance to local residents.
