...to address concerns regarding the conflict in Israel and Gaza, the council approved a Labour Group amendment to a motion, committing to explore changes for potential divestment from companies tied to human rights breaches, refrain from twinning activities in conflict zones (including inactive arrangements with Haifa), and continue to advocate to the UK government for action following UN findings and developments in the peace process.
