The Cabinet noted the minutes of the previous meetings and approved two new capital schemes totalling £659k to improve the Council's IT systems. The Cabinet also approved a new lease for Zer Cafe in Goodchild Road, and approved the sale of the vacant office building at 17 Sylvester Road.

The Appointments Sub Committee of Hackney Council met to consider exempt information. The meeting was not open to the public and press.

Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee - Monday 4 November 2024 2.00 pm

This meeting was about awarding contracts for the provision of building works and refuse collection vehicles, and was scheduled to include a discussion about whether to bring the provision of some corporate security services in-house.

The Cabinet noted the minutes of the previous meeting and the minutes of the Cabinet Procurement and Insourcing Committee. They approved the Overall Financial Position Report - August 2024, the Capital Update and Property Disposals And Acquisitions report, a proposal for a Hackney Council Agency Joint Venture with Commercial Services Kent Ltd (CSKL), the City and Hackney Safeguarding Adults Board Annual Report 2023-24, and an updated list of appointments and nominations.

Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday 10 October 2024 3.00 pm

This meeting of Hackney's Health and Wellbeing Board was scheduled to receive a range of reports, including updates on projects previously funded by the board and new proposals for the board to consider. Topics included the Homerton Hospital’s work on creating autism-friendly neighbourhoods, a proposal for a rough sleepers street stall, updates to the suicide prevention strategy, and a review of the council’s response to tackling obesity.
