Hackney's Cabinet adopted the refreshed Voluntary and Community Sector Strategy 2025-2035 on 21 July 2025. The decision was to adopt the strategy which sets out how the council will work with the voluntary and community sector. The council will be developing accompanying short-term action plans against each theme in the strategy.

...to improve housing services, the Cabinet approved a Housing Improvement Plan and a Housing Ombudsman response, addressing issues like health and safety, repairs, complaints, and data management.
