Fleet Procurement of Waterways Operations Barge

The Port Authority have a statutory duty to maintain Navigation Aids. This work requires a workboat which the Port Authority currently lease. The owner of the boat wishes to sell the boat for market value and has given the Council first refusal on its purchase. This report provides consideration and appraisal of the potential purchase of the current workboat.

...to comply with statutory requirements, the council tax base for 2025/26 was set at £39,852, a Collection Fund Surplus of £1,305,121 was approved, and the Section 151 Officer was delegated responsibility for approving the Council's NNDR1 return by January 31, 2025.
