Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 1 July 2025 10.30 am

The Strategic Planning Committee met to discuss planning appeals, a large warehouse application in Melksham, a solar farm proposal near Potterne, and the conversion of agricultural buildings in Winterbourne Earls. The Trowbridge Area Board met to discuss community grants, appointments to outside bodies and updates from partners including Wiltshire Police and the Family Hub Wiltshire Council. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector and Wiltshire Council framework, and the Local Highways and Footway Improvement Group.

Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel - Thursday 26 June 2025 10.30 am

The Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel met to discuss a range of issues, including the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer, an update from Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson, OBE, MPhil, and a report on the Police and Crime Plan. The panel was also scheduled to receive a presentation on road safety.
